As a Health Care Assistant in our theatre team you will support the registered nurses and operating department practitioners in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient. You will provide support and assistance to qualified staff,assist with the transportation of patients, monitor and maintain stock and complete relevant documentation correctly.
**This vacancy is part time, offering 28.5 hours per week**
With experience in the operating department, you will be willing to compete your NVQ level 2 or 3 in operating department support if you haven’t already. Just as importantly however is your caring approach to patients, ability to carry out basic proceduresas delegated and under the direction of qualified theatre staff as well as your ability to communicate routine information including observations.
