**Overview and Responsibilities**:

- Supporting our Service Users; assistance with daily tasks, cleaning, cooking, attending medical appointments, travel on public transport, shopping, banking, social activities.
- Completing paperwork, daily records, risk assessments, diary management.
- Responsibility to assist with the communal cleaning of the environment incorporating the recommended health & safety requirements.
- Using your Safeguarding awareness and training to ensure Service Users are kept free from harm and abuse
- Communication with Health Care Professionals and emergency services as and when required and recording the information appropriately.
- Daily Covid -19 testing
- Your attention to detail will help our service users to be respected for their individuality.
- You will be aware and mindful of their choices which includes but is not limited to their identity, rights, personal choice, privacy, independence, and dignity and by maintaining this you will helping them live the best life they can.

**Experience Required**
- 1 year support worker experience required
- 1 years mental health support experience preferred
- NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care preferred

We are looking for somebody who has a passion for supporting others to lead an enjoyable and independent life doing this with a good sense of humour and a willingness to help others, who can remain calm and always have a friendly attitude.

We will provide all staff the Care Certificate Qualification training and then you will have the option to continue to Adult Care worker Standard level 2 Qualification.

All our sites are provided with PPE and cleaning routines to help maintain a virus free environment. All staff use LFT before every shift they do and after annual leave. All visitors are asked to sanitise hands & wear a mask
