South East, United Kingdom Abri Group Full time

**About us**

Hey, we’re Abri, a housing association based in the south of England. One of the largest in fact. We have 80,000 customers across 35,000 homes across the south, all supported by our 1,600 colleagues working out in our communities and behind the scenes. We’re a passionate bunch and think we can make a real difference. Homelessness, poverty, inequality, a lack of affordable housing. They’re all linked and we’ve all got our part to play in tacking them head-on. Homes are at the heart of everybody’s lives. And we exist to help make good homes, and good lives, a reality for everyone.

Come be part of something special.

**About you**

If you see the opportunities that every challenge brings, if you see a solution for every problem that needs crushing and if your thing is making a real difference, come join us. You’ll fit right in.

**What you'll be doing**

Our mission is to create thriving communities and empower the lives of our customers. And at its core is the belief that everyone has the right to a safe, warm and affordable home. To do this, we need to have strong regional governance and leadership, that can empower and support better services for our customers. But first, we need to evolve how we work, and that’s why we’re looking to recruit new members to our Regional Board.

We’re looking for five new Regional Board members to uphold our values and vision and deliver positive accountability for customers and stakeholders across Abri’s south-east region covering Slough, Windsor and Bracknell.

Earlier this year, we announced a potential partnership between Silva and Abri, and we shared a new regional approach if Silva are to join the Abri Group. The Regional Board - made up of Abri customers and independent members - will be part of this model and will mean we’ll stay grounded in the communities of that area, so we can be accountable to our customers. We’ll truly be large, but local.

The south-east region will have a Regional Managing Director leading on decisions about delivery of local services, acting as an ambassador to local authorities in the area, and will work with the Regional and Group Board to provide accountability - that’s why recruiting these roles is so important.

You’ll act as a powerful voice for the customers in the region, representing them to the wider organisation and working with regional customer panels to make sure our service delivery and continuous improvement programmes keep customers and their wellbeing at the heart of all we do.

If you’re truly passionate about making a difference and want to help spearhead our flagship approach to customer engagement, we’d love to hear from you

**Be yourself**

We’re all about inclusivity and we want each of our colleagues to feel free to speak up, be bold and to be their authentic selves. Here at Abri, we’re all different, we’re all unique and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
