**More about your role**
**This is for a full-time position, working agile across our sites across South Manchester and North Cheshire areas. You will work 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday. You can also earn overtime, be provided with a company van, and be entitledto 24 days holiday.**
Are you tired of working seasonally? Or are you looking for more job security? Here at Places for People Landscapes we are looking to recruit a permanent External Operative, to join our team and work with us all year round.
You will be working within a team of Operatives carrying out a high-quality service. As well as maintaining lawns we will need you to keep our neighbourhoods in bloom by planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. You will maintain footpaths, walkways, car parksand other hard standing area's as well as clearing snow from pedestrian areas and carrying out repairs including fences and planters may also be needed.
Please Note: This is an outdoors role, so you need to be prepared to work outside all year round, in the glorious British weather (that includes snow, shine or rain).

**More about you**
Have you worked within a landscape or maintenance team previously? If yes, then we want to hear from you.Although it is not essential, holding a PA1 and PA6A spraying license would be valuable. A full valid driving licence is essential.
The Landscape Team carries out maintenance within our communities so this role will see you working closely with our customers; therefore, we will need you to be an excellent communicator. This is a busy time for us, so we need you to have strong organisationskills for you to be able to manage your workload.
