Parkinson Lee Executive Search are retained partners to a leading manufacturing firm based in Yorkshire in the appointment of a Managing Director.
Joining the company during a rapid period of growth, you will lead the day-to-day management and performance of the company, with responsibility for delivering the strategic plans, as well as developing and delivering annual business plan targets and budgets.
With a strong commercial and customer focus, you will lead on key customer relationships, ensuring clients are maximising opportunities with the introduction of new products and aftersales services.
Key responsibilities include:
*Ensuring there is continuous profitable growth of the business, implementing relevant systems and processes to manage commercial gain
*Establishing and maintaining strong customer focus
*Full P&L responsibility
*Reviewing activity reports and financial statements to determine and progress attaining objectives
*Leadership and day to day management of the Senior Team
*Providing overall leadership and ensuring employees have the right competencies and capabilities deliver the agreed financial goals in the short, medium and long term
*Researching and analysing the industry, market, and competitors to make informed strategy decisions on developments, market opportunities, customers and suppliers. To support the positioning of the business as the market leader within the industry
Parkinson Lee are looking for applicants with the below skill set:
*A proven track record of working at Managing Director level with a strong commercial focus
*Experience of working within a manufacturing environment that offers after sales, service, and repairs
*An exceptional customer focus with a hands-on approach to building and maintaining key customer relationships
*Full P&L responsibility
*Experience of working in a SME environment or a larger corporate as divisional MD level
