We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and proactive Accounts Assistant / Office Junior to join our friendly finance team on a permanent, full time basis.

The role does not require experience however, you will need to have Microsoft Office skills and an excellent telephone manner. It would be suited to someone at the beginning of their accountancy studies who eventually wants to qualify for their AAT or those looking for their first office role.

The role is office based with a salary commensurate with age and experience.

Full training will be provided for the role which includes the following key responsibilities:
**Purchase Ledger**
- Inputting invoices onto the system
- Checking prices charged are correct
- Raising and resolving queries with suppliers
- Obtaining payment approvals
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing payment runs

**Sales Ledger**
- Inputting customer receipts
- Responding to customer account queries
- Sending monthly statements
- Credit control duties as required

**Other Duties**
- Answering phone calls
- Opening and distributing post
- Filing paperwork
- Good levels of competency across Microsoft Excel
- Be hardworking and committed
- Good numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Organised
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with great communication skills
