The Children’s Leaving Care service in Manchester has a key role in delivery of high-quality support to people who use services, and those who care for them to ensure safe & ambitious practice driving excellence in services for care leavers in the city.

The Community Hub provides open access support to care experienced young people from aged 16 to ensure the right guidance, advice and assistance is there for our young people, for whenever they need us.

In Manchester, all care experienced young people are supported to lead a Happy, Healthy, Safe & Successful life and reach their potential - this support extends into adulthood also.

The Hub offers 1:1 pathway planning support for older care leavers (21+) and multi-agency community services for care experienced young people from aged 16 years at the point these are needed.

The Hub is supported by colleagues from Housing & Health as well as offering a gateway to Education, Employment and Training opportunities. & community & charity services.

In the Hub we know and expect all young people to experience big changes in life and we are here to work through challenges and celebrate successes together.

If you’re successful you’ll join a team of dedicated professionals pushing forward a high standard of support for young people to promote their independence and advocate their decisions, views, and choices in their pathway to adulthood.

The Community Hub is seeking a passionate leader who has a proven track record in improving support and services for care experienced young people.

The Hub leader will have excellent skills in working across the partnership and promoting excellent practice and outcomes for care experienced young people across the city.
