Junior Business Partner

Your role at a glance
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Junior Business Partner on a 6 month FTC.

What you'll be doing
- Assist in the implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures covering all business lines in Private Credit to ensure a robust operational framework and be an fundamental part of business integration
- Provide accurate, timely and complete management information to various stakeholders within the business
- Assist with and manage queries in relation to pipeline of deals from Private Credit front office to the operational teams
- Act as the interface between Private Credit front office and LGIM’s Investment Operations teams to ensure transaction information is accurately appraised and communicated to the fund accounting / operations team for processing
- Assist in internal and external audit reviews to co-ordinate any information request across all teams
- Help to document and where possible implement, any improved and enhanced controls around existing operating policies and procedures
- Keep in regular contact with compliance and risk teams to ensure updates and changes are understood and reported back to the manager with recommendations
- Support the reviews of any regular gap and risk analysis to identify, capture and monitor unknown risks to the business
- Take a pro-active lead in small change projects in conjunction with Business Analysts and IT to ensure any solutions contribute to a robust operating platform in the context of the overall control environment.
- Assist in being a contact for outsourced loan administration and accounting service providers
- Act as interface between outsourced service providers and investment team to ensure transaction information is accurately appraised and communicated to the outsourced service provider.
- Assist in projects in Private Credit around the implementation and/or amendment of processes within the Private Credit Business or as they impact the wider LGIM team;
- Assist in representing the interests of Private Credit on LGIM or Group projects that impact the Private Credit Business.
- Assist in the queries received from LGIM’s operational teams including Private Credit Support, Data Services, Valuations and Fund Accounting teams.
- Manage and assist in client queries and requests received in Business Management and resolve in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain books of investment record that agree to LGIM RA fund accounting record and report and analyse AUM and performance to management and clients;
- Ensure adequate finance procedures are in place and implement improved procedures where necessary, and
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including the Alternative Investment Fund Management Directive.

What we're looking for
- Experience within Real Assets, Private Credit, Asset Management or Investment Management
- Experience working as a Junior Business Partner, or within an Operations type role
- Open to graduates who have had experience within Real Assets, Private Credit, Asset Management or Investment Management
