**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00, on occasion the working hours may be 08.00 - 16.00 to attend on ward rounds

We are recruiting for an experienced Housing Worker, to work within our embedded team at the John Radcliffe Hospital Emergency Department and hospital wards.

**About the role**:
You will develop networks with other support organisations and work in partnership with Oxfordshire housing associations, enabling you to provide the necessary support for your clients.

This is an exciting, dynamic role that makes a true difference to people's lives.

The role is located within the John Radcliffe Hospital and Connection Support Oxford office.

**You may on occasion support within other hospitals/services in Oxfordshire therefore a driver's licence and access to a car is essential.**

**About you**:
You will have professional experience of homelessness and housing support, including an understanding of the benefits system. Ideally, you have some knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act (HRA), but this is not essential as we will provide full training.

Your ability to easily build connections with a diverse range of people, and your excellent active listening skills enable you to have a strong understanding of the different needs of people who may be suffering from a variety of conditions.
