Business Development Executive

Our client is now looking for a Business Development Executive to join their busy team in Canary Wharf
You will deliver new business opportunities through outbound customer activity, in order to provide revenue growth and profitable trading relationships with nominated or new clients and partners, in line with company goals and objectives.
Reporting to the Sales Director, Business Development Executive works within the Sales Team, focused on the growth of revenue across all of products and services. This includes supporting the growth and development of new business for the company via marketingcampaigns and may also include growth of existing clients. Business Development Executive will work closely with the Senior R&D Consultants and Sales Director to achieve agreed targets and objectives.
**Salary**: £24,000 + high commissions
**Business Development Executive Duties**:
- Pro-active outbound communication (written & verbal) to book new business appointments with target organisations
- Sales revenue growth for the company, aligned to the company’s solution set.
- Working with various clients, prospects and partners to maximise revenue and gross profit opportunity
- Manage opportunities from inception to close and manage the virtual team to deliver the proposal and win the business
- Be a champion for customer satisfaction in the account base
- Build on existing vendor relationships and build new trusted relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with C Level contacts within your account base
- Driving depth into customers through cross selling and up-selling activity, leveraging the full portfolio of available products and services
- To actively drive your self-development, working closely with your Sales Director to set personal objectives
- Client profiling and planning to generate clear activity plans for sales activity within the sector or territory
- Pro-active identification of client business needs and production of appropriate and timely propositions in line with company offerings
- Execution and management of pro-active sales campaigns into the agreed sector, territory or client set, to generate meetings and sales opportunities to meet revenue and gross profit targets
- Management of CRM system including updating client-base contacts, leads and opportunities and pro-active communications where appropriate to maximise revenue stream per client
- Development of new relationships within nominated existing clients by sourcing new appropriate contacts, securing meetings and sales opportunities
- Preparation of accurate, timely and current reporting to the Sales Director. This will include revenue and gross profit forecasting, opportunity pipeline information, win planning and call plan activity. This will require timely updates of the nominatedClient Relationship Management (CRM) tool
- To develop a clear and demonstrable understanding of company portfolio and capability and be able to present this to internal and external audiences
- Accurate and timely communication of resource requirements and forecasts
- Quality, professional and effective communications with all company, client and partner employees
- Delivery of profitable and commercially viable solutions, always in line with company processes and contractual requirements
- Periodic activity and results review to maximise business potential.
**Business Development Executive Requirements**:
- Sales experience essential
- Proven success in developing opportunities with high services content ideal
- Understanding of Microsoft’s capabilities, corporate migrations and the business issues involved ideal
- Professional sales training (including telesales/telemarketing) ideal

**Business Development Executive Benefits**:
- High Commission Available (7.5% of the overall claim size - Inhouse average claim size is currently £91,500)
- Working Hours 09:30-17:00
