We are looking for a **Drug Substance Project Lead** who is **innovative**, **strategic**, and **collaborative**to join our **Drug Substance Process Sciences team** at UCB, based in our campus located in **Braine, Belgium** or **Slough, UK**.

**What You Will Do**:

- Lead one or more development projects from preclinical to commercial launch and life cycle management.
- Act as the functional representative in the Technical Solutions Team (TST) and liaise with key stakeholders.
- Define and implement integrated functional development strategies in line with overall strategy.
- Manage risks, ensuring all major risks are identified, reported, and mitigated.
- Provide scientific leadership, project management, and ensure compliance with governance processes.

**Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following qualifications, experience, and skills**:

- Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
- Strong knowledge in Drug Substance (DS), Drug Product (DP), or Analytical development.
- Experience in regulatory and quality requirements for different clinical phases.
- Ability to drive decision-making in a multidisciplinary matrix organization.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player with emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate the organization.
