**Vacancy Details**:
**Shifts**: Day, Night and Weekend

*Accomodation Assistance will be provided

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Worker will be responsible for providing support and guidance to young people who are experiencing challenges related to drug and alcohol abuse.
- Conduct assessments of young people who are experiencing challenges related to substance abuse and alcoholism, and develop individualized support plans in collaboration with them
- Provide education and awareness to young people about the risks and consequences of substance abuse and alcoholism, and work with them to identify triggers and develop coping mechanisms
- Provide emotional support and guidance to young people in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner, and help them develop practical life skills such as stress management, coping mechanisms, and healthy habits.
- Monitor and track young people’s progress in their recovery journey and Support them in their Recovery journey
- Facilitate group sessions and activities that support young people’s recovery and help them build positive relationships with peers
- Maintain accurate records and reports of interactions with young people, and complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 month experience in the similar role preferred
- NVQ Level 3 preferred ( not mandatory) or equivalent qualification in health and social care is preferred
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skils
