MY Florist are looking for a fun, energetic and creative person who demonstrates self motivation with excellent in person communication, as well as social media and technical skills to help support the growth in demand in a rapidly expanding business.

In particular you will be driving sales, and securing contracts and commissions with local venues, business as well as private events.

We are looking for somebody who can boost the visibility of our business' both online and offline presence and cultivate improved customer engagement and sales.

You will be passionate about researching and seeking opportunities to increase the number of venues and clients we work with as well as creating great relationships that will enhance not only our events portfolio but the business as a whole.

Wage will be discussed and will depend solely on experience and ability.

**Local Marketing**
- To create a local marketing plan and event calendar and implement the marketing strategy of the wider business
- To attend regular external events, including local networking events
- Working to maximise PR opportunities

**About You**

An experienced sales and social media marketing professional looking for a challenge, who shares our values and has genuine passion for floristry, weddings and events.

You will know the area and engage with contacts in the city. Be proactive in your approach to get out and build relationships and initiate conversations as well as online marketing.

Be an organised professional with commercial awareness and initiative to build on the current success of MY Florist.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating, organising and posting content for our social media channels, including text, images and video content.
- Co-ordinating social media marketing campaigns in support of business goals.
- Taking charge and initiative in all aspects of marketing including attending wedding and corporate fairs.
- Coordinating the design, print and distribution of marketing material.
- Reaching out and engaging with corporate and private clientele.
- To establish & build new relationships with potential clients and customers in order to drive growth and generate high-spend bookings

Necessary Skills and Qualifications
- A passion for social media and the benefits it can bring to a business.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media channels.
- A creative individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and enjoy working as a team member as well as individually.
- Graphic design skills desired.
- At least one year’s experience in an events, sales or Front of House.

We are a company that provides all aspects of event and venue décor. This can include table centres, stage sets, sound and lighting, chair covers and props.
