**What you will do as a Head Team Leader** **at Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill**

The Housekeeping Head Team Leader is accountable for supervising the department operation by ensuring that guest rooms, back of house and public areas are presented and kept to an impeccable standard.

Some of the key processes and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conducting daily floor inspections walks ensuring all areas including corridors, lift landings, pantries and service areas are in good condition and take action, as required.
- Allocating special deep cleaning jobs including task of the week and special project porters distributing tracking sheets to the Team Leader and communicating with the BOC accordingly, ensuring the tasks are completed and returned within deadlines
- Following up with the Team Leaders Pantry Check records, ensuring all equipment, trolleys, skips and spare furniture are inspected and presented according to standard
- Inspecting VIP rooms after Team Leader preparation, recording all findings via HotSos Manager Inspection, addressing and rectifying any potential issues on the spot
- Ensuring guest feedbacks are followed up by Team Leaders and We care log updated
- Conducting daily inspections of FOH & BOH Public Areas & Meeting Rooms spot checking cleanliness and upkeep, reporting any maintenance/ H&S issue in HotSos and following up on resolution.
- Supervising the proper organization, cleanliness and upkeep of the Housekeeping storage cages in the Car Park
- Reviewing weekly function forecasts and liaising with Housekeeping Administrator to ensure adequate Public Area manning is organized
- Conducting regular one to one conversations with the colleagues addressing any underperformance and disciplinary related concerns, mentoring and coaching to ensure maximum employee engagement
- Assisting Housekeeping Management team completing and recording regular Check In Conversations and annual Year End Reviews and Goal Settings
- Conduct a daily closing walk to ensure all corridors, Maid services and lift landings are clean and tidy
- Take over any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the scope of the role, whenever reasonably instructed to do so
