Are you looking for your next contract as a Head of Finance?
Due to recent growth and a subsequent restructure, this Winchester based media company is searching for an experienced Head of Finance to manage a team of four qualified Finance Managers.The role of Head of Finance is available on an interim basis whilstthe business recruits permanently, as such there is an opportunity to convert to a permanent role.
Working with incomplete data and getting underneath the skin of the business to assess performance is just one part of this role. The Head of Finance will be a commercial interim with a background in large corporate environments and excellent business partneringskills. They will be somebody who enjoys managing a team and making a real difference through value-add initiatives.
The company itself has fully embraced modern working and offers hybrid and remote working options. When on-site though, you can expect impressive office facilities including, a canteen, sport facilities and more.
**Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for**:

- Delivering commercial support that drives financial performance
- Business partnering to the management team
- Monitoring performance KPIs against planned targets / forecast
- Owning LTP, budget and forecast for product areas challenging the directors to commit to the appropriate ebbtide and cash deliverables
- Owning the monthly results and sign off with the management accounts team
- Creating pricing structures for renewals, new business bids, proposals & pro-actively identify potential to maximise value through improving margins or reducing cost base
- Driving the right investment decision by supporting through Black Hats, Governance and Ics.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and delivery of annual regulatory accounts, ensuring all contractual customer reporting is delivered

**What you will need**:

- Qualified accountant or similar finance degree
- Business partnering skills
- Experience of managing a finance team and matrix environment
- Comprehensive experience of analysing and explaining data to non-finance colleagues
- Industrial experience not essential, however a background in Media /Telecoms/Infrastructure would be beneficial
