**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Financial Leadership**: Partner with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
- **Financial Planning and Analysis**: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- **Team Leadership and Development**: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Ensure efficient and effective financial processes.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and processes.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
- **Mergers and Acquisitions**: Support the company’s growth through acquisitions. Conduct financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition financial management.
- **Cash Flow Management**: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company’s financial stability. Develop strategies to optimise working capital and liquidity.

**Profile**:

- A professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-growing company
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A proactive and innovative approach to improving processes and systems
