The Learning and Development Admin Manager will be joining the HR team and responsible for helping to deliver day-to-day L&D requirements.

**Client Details**

The client is a work-leading not for profit research institute, based in Woking, which understands, predicts, detects, and responds to viral disease outbreak.

**Description**

The key responsibilities for the Learning and Development Admin Manager will be to:

- Manage training requirements and responsible for processing and coordination of L&D requests.
- Liaise with external suppliers ensuring that the training is relevant (Competency based), professional, and value for money.
- Working with managers and employees to understand learning needs.
- Promote formal L&D opportunities internally via our intranet and also encourage informal means of development.
- Responsible for the learning management system, Absorb, including addition of courses, updating of records, and developing reports.
- Point of contact for our Apprenticeship Programme, liaising with providers, line managers and Apprentices.
- Own the mentoring programme, including processing of new requests and matching mentees to mentors.
- Coordinate the delivery of the Institute's Inductions and to present HR session.
- Managing confidentiality in line with GDPR and compliance requirements
- Review current L&D processes and policies regularly to ensure they meet business need.

**Profile**
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience in a Learning & Development Officer level role
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- The ability and confidence to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Capable of working independently and assessing priorities
- Ability to adapt in approach and to respond to changing requirements to obtain best outcomes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills
- Excellent customer focus and collaborative approach
- Accurate data recording and record keeping
- High level of personal integrity
- Experience of working with external training providers
- Excellent MS Office skills

**Job Offer**
- Salary ranging from £35,818 - £37,749, permanent
- Based in Woking
- 25 days annual leave per annum, pro rata, plus 10.5 public and privilege days
- Buy and sell annual leave
- Option to carry over up to two weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
