**Hours**: 40 hours per week Tues-Sat, some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Accurately manage and control label and packaging stocks at all times.
- Pick and issue stock for production requirements in a timely manner.
- Intake and despatch of all packaging goods with completion of inspection regulations and accompanying paperwork.
- Control site packaging location and allocations whilst maintaining good housekeeping.
- Maintain the companies’ prophet system updating data, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist internal and external audits as and when required.
- Action audit non-conformances requests promptly.
- Carry out rolling stock counts and any additional urgent stock checks as and when required.
- Amend stock figures on Prophet system on receipt of approval from Packaging Manager.
- Co-ordinate issue and return 3rd party and off site packaging requirements as and when required.
- Comply with company and external policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
- Complete applicable training to all improve performance of duties and assist personal development.
- Using the Manual Handling Equipment (Forklift Trucks) in the area
- Covering the yard to ensuring that the yard area is kept clean and tidy.

**Knowledge and Skill requirements**
- Standard reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to capture and input data accurately.
- Good team working skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and BRC requirements, though not necessary, would be an advantage.
- Holding a reach/counterbalance forklift license would be an advantage.
