Our **BIM Specialist** will be the Revit lead for Modus. Over the last couple of years, we have carried out a substantial implementation process ensuring that Revit becomes the go-to tool for design.

We are now looking for someone to inherit what has been built over the last few years & take it to the next stage of growth as the company continues to expand.

Day to day, you are going to be the primary go-to person for anything and everything Revit related, providing a proactive support & service function to the Modus Design Team and wider business.

**Your focus will be**

Reporting into our Head of Design Management, we are looking for someone who will have four primary areas of responsibility: (1) Software Management (2) Staff Support (3) BIM/Information Management and (4) Project related other responsibilities.

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for:

- BIM Implementation: Oversee the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technologies within the design and build practice.
- BIM Standards Development: Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- BIM Project Planning: Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM execution plans, including defining project-specific BIM goals, strategies, and deliverables.
- Technological Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the industry to identify opportunities for technological innovation and improvement.
- Training and Education: Provide training and support to staff members on BIM software, tools, and workflows, ensuring the proper use of BIM technologies within the practice.
- BIM Coordination: Coordinate and manage the clash detection and resolution process by conducting regular clash detection meetings and ensuring effective collaboration among design disciplines.
- BIM Model Management: Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of BIM models and related data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- BIM Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective BIM integration and information exchange.
- Quality Control: Conduct periodic audits and quality control checks on BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with established standards and project requirements.
- BIM Software and Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend appropriate BIM software, tools, and technologies based on project needs and industry best practices.
- BIM Project Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to project teams during the design, construction, and operation phases.
- BIM Data Analysis: Analyse BIM data and extract relevant insights to support decision-making processes and optimize project outcomes.
- Collaboration with IT Team: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the integration and interoperability of BIM technologies with the organization's overall IT infrastructure.
- BIM Documentation: Document BIM workflows, processes, and best practices to create a knowledge base and ensure information sharing across the organization.
- Project Management: Assist project managers in leveraging BIM technologies to improve project coordination, scheduling, and overall project management efficiency.

**You will bring to the table**
- Strong experience in Software Management: You should be comfortable managing Revit projects, testing and rolling out plugins, managing the installation of updates & upgrading content to new releases.
- Experienced in staff support: You will provide day to day support to the team on Revit issues, providing over-the-shoulder and classroom style training sessions.
- BIM/Information management: You should be experienced in producing and maintaining company BIM standards and policy
- Project related experience: You should be an expert in writing Revit specific content for pitch documentation, PQQs etc.
