**Production / Order Processing Operative**

Working as part of a small dedicated team producing, filling and packing products, Playing an important role in this well renown company.

**The Job.**

Our production team play a vital role in the business, working as a team to produce and deliver high quality products which are supplied in to major engineering and manufacturers in a wide range of industries. You will be operating production and fillingmachinery and ensuring all the products meet very strict quality and performance criteria. You will be working as part of a small team in a fast moving environment. You will receive on site training and supervision to help you achieve the daily targets andmaintain all of our ISO Quality, Health and safety and Environmental standards.

You must be motivated, have attention to detail and be able to follow written production instructions, ensure all machinery is used and maintained properly and work well as part of a small team. Ability to work quickly and accurately, a good problem solver,communication and time management skills

Although working as part of a team you must also be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.

Previous experience in a production environment is an advantage but not essential, however applicants must have a reasonable level of fitness in order to fulfil some aspects of the role.

**Tasks and Skills**:

- Filling and producing products in accordance to production planning
- Filling and producing products to the required quality and performance standards
- Picking and Packing orders accurately
- Despatch and Goods inwards
- Keeping the work area safe and clean
- Maintaining tools, machinery and facilities in the production area
- Working Safely and ensuring colleagues do the same
- Awareness of stock levels and requirements
- Have a flexible and proactive attitude to the tasks and duties required withing the company

**Hours of business**:

- Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm,
- Fridays 9am - 4pm.
- 30 minute lunch break.
- All English Bank holidays off (The business is closed for all Christmases, and it will be a requirement for all staff to take personal holiday during this period of closure)

Company Pension Scheme available after successful completion of 3 months qualification/probationary period.
