To work as a team member under the supervision of team leader or manager, carrying out tasks as required in compliance with IPS Adhesives EHS and Quality Standards. You will play a key role is maintaining key metrics such as right first time, on time in full performance and minimizing customer complaints.-
- Your role as factory operator includes:

- Assessing tasks for risks and implementing control measures
- Staging materials prior to batch production
- Checking Raw Material approval / shelf life status prior to use
- Accurately weighing Raw Materials and Mixtures
- Following standard process instructions to minimize batch variance.
- Accurately completing all relevant paperwork
- Feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
- Operating production line equipment, for example, a high-speed disperser, filling lines, etc.-
- Set up, operate, and clean up filling machines.-
- Checks cartridges for proper fill level/piston depth Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic batch testing using standard QC test methods
- Storing goods and raw materials in the yard or warehouse
- Using lifting equipment and forklift trucks
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas, machinery and equipment
- Reporting any problems during the shift to supervisors including any maintenance issues

- **Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- The ability to work quickly and methodically
- Good team working skills
- The ability to follow instructions
- An awareness of environment, health and safety issues
- A willingness to work flexibly
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal customers
- Good computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude Ability to work independently and to carry out batch processing to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices- **Key Competencies**:

- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the IPS and local standards, including meeting quality, productivity and safety standards.
