In this role you will be working shifts, assisting the young people in all aspects of their everyday life. No two days will be the same; the role is an exciting challenge. Day to day in the role you may be: - Arranging and supporting a child to participate in exciting activities and supporting their interests and hobbies. - Preparing meals, undertaking shopping trips. - Attending important meetings with social services or health services. - Helping to support and encourage our children to engage in and be successful in education. - Creating a homely environment in which our children can feel safe and cared for. - Collaborating and communicating with your colleagues to implement the best possible care practices. - Ensuring that recording and reporting is undertaken to a very high standard.
