**Job Description**:
You will be supporting the Credit Control/Accounts Receivable Manager in ensuring an efficient debt management process.

This is a 6 months fixed term contract.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day to day responsibility for accurate and timely cash allocation of payments to the Sales Ledger.
- Debt chasing to limit overdue exposure.
- Creation of new credit accounts.
- Credit risk management including credit checking and debt insurance cover.
- Liaison with Customer Services, Commercial and other departments to prevent/resolve customer payment issues.
- Production of cash targets and weekly debtor reporting.
- Ad hoc duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Credit Control experience - ideally 5+ years.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer literate with a high level of Excel skills. V look ups and pivot tables minimum requirement.
- Experience using Accounting software packages. Knowledge of SAP an advantage.
- Finance qualifications advantageous.
- Effectively able to prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
- Confident when dealing with people on the telephone/ in person and at all levels.
- Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training/ working hours.
- Conscientious and reliable.
- Excellent communication skills, in order to deliver accurate information.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
- Professional, approachable and helpful
- Proactive and able to make decisions.
