**Job Advert: Project Coordinator - Emergency Accommodation**

Location: Brighton & Hove

/ Fixed Contract (18-month pilot with potential for extension)

**About Us**:
Safe Haven Sussex CIC provides accommodation and support to vulnerable adults who have previously experienced homelessness. We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator for our Emergency Accommodation Pilot Project in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council.

**Role Overview**:
As the Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of the Emergency Accommodation Project. You will manage communications, oversee maintenance and support staff, and maintain a professional relationship with clients and stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate project activities including welfare officers, maintenance, and cleaning staff.
- Manage correspondence, ensuring timely responses to communications.
- Schedule meetings and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and manage resources for empty rooms and client needs.
- Support the Project Manager with health and safety checks and project progress reporting.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Understanding of housing and homelessness issues.
- Experience in administration or project coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: From £25,500.00 per year
