Are you a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a passion for the music and entertainment industry? Are you skilled in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records for the agency. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with accounting standards.
Preparing regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
Conducting regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining employee records.
Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and assisting with tax filings.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
A passion for the music and entertainment industry.
