What you need to know This is a great role, which will contribute to the growth of Financial Lines, D&O. You will be joining a market leader in D&O and you will have the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team of experienced D&O Underwriters. Some of the key responsibilities include: - Meet individual underwriting expectations to help team achieve budgeted financial objectives. - Developing D&O new business in the London Market. - Assess desirability of risk through analysis of financial reports and accounts (as required), regular contact with brokers, thorough review of proposals, and review of claims history and general company information. - Use designated Underwriting system(s) to streamline underwriting and information-tracking approach across Profit Centre. - Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market. - Serve as guide and/or referral point for Underwriters. - Support other Underwriters and help develop networking opportunities as they arise: - Support team building and team strategies and goals. - Ensure contract certainty. - Ensure compliance with key regulatory and risk management responsibilities What we're looking for - Underwriting or Broker experience within D&O - Proven track record of developing D&O new business in the London Market. - Strong communication skills with the ability to network and build relationships - Ability to handle multiple priorities, organise work and meet deadlines - Ability to analyse financial statements - Customer and sales focused - Tenacious, motivated, proactive, can produce results A look at our Benefits We're proud to offer a range of employee benefits and resources that help you protect what matters most - your health care, savings, financial protection and wellbeing.
