The Role
You will be assisting the Head of Hospitality with the management of the hospitality area, provide Front of House cover and other ad-hoc duties as required.
The main focus of the role is to ensure that the front of house area and meeting rooms are maintained to present the right image to clients and visitors, maintaining all daily duties as per the Food Management System daily schedules, in line with the H&S foodhandling requirements.
You will provide first class Front of House cover, including meet and greet of clients / guests, maintaining the required client image, preparing refreshments for meetings following a room-booking schedule and liaising with the Head of Hospitality and Meetingorganiser over catering requirements for sandwich/buffet/formal lunches, evening receptions, off-site client entertaining etc.
You will also maintain catering stock control and assist with ordering supplies, set up meeting rooms with Hospitality requirements and to assist Front of House / Post, team with any IT equipment set up as per the room-booking schedule and ensure that all mattersare dealt with in an appropriate manner and to undertake other ad hoc duties as and when required by the Head of Hospitality and / or the Facilities Manager.
Rotating shift times; 7:30am to 4:30pm, 8:30am to 5:30pm & 9:30am to 6:30pm.
You
- Previous experience providing VIP hospitality services.
- Flexible and positive attitude - flexibility needed around working hours to meet the needs of the business on occasions.
- To always maintain a professional attitude Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to prioritise and juggle workload.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Confidential.
- Confident and resilient, experience of working with all levels of staff.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
- Strong team player - willing to support colleagues within the department wherever necessary and appropriate.
- At least a Basic Level of Microsoft Office to include, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
