We require Learning disability support workers to work Monday to Fridays and weekends on a rota basis to support adults with Challenging Behaviour. We have various roles around 18 hours per week, usually working approximately 6 hours per day although some flexibility may be needed for longer or shorter days to meet clients needs.

Although training is provided, previous experience and understanding around adults with learning disabilities and Challenging behaviour would be an advantage.

Your Life Care Services support adults with learning disabilities in our day Centre and the local community. It is a requirement that you can move around the community to different locations.

Your job as a Support Worker is to ensure our Service Users lead valued and fulfilling lives, helping them to reach their potential and achieve to the best of their ability.

You may support them to go to do personal tasks, activities in the community such as bowling, swimming or enjoy their favorite hobby, through to more exciting tasks such as helping them to achieve their hopes and dreams.

About You
- Previous experience of working with learning disabilities is preferred
- Must be able to work flexibly
- You must be able to work a weekend on a rota basis (usually 1 every 3/4 weeks)
- Be able to use a computer
- Be able to work alone and use your own initiative

Our support workers are very important to us and are an essential part of our service.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
