Head of Finance Change Delivery

**What we're looking for**:
We're looking for a Head of Finance Change Delivery to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract

You'll need to be experienced in leading large-scale change delivery within Finance.

You'll have effective project management skills, and experience with finance system implementations and MI system developments. If you have delivered change using Agile frameworks - even better

We need someone who is an inspiring people leader and is able to build effective relationships within their team and across DLG.

**Who you'll be working with**:
Reporting to our Head of Change delivery, you'll lead a Finance Change delivery team to deliver change to an agreed set of principles and governance, ensuring outcome meets requirements. You'll also work with programme delivery teams, key stakeholders across DLG, and external suppliers to drive delivery, and facilitate business and systems change decisions.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Ensures appropriate approach to delivery is selected and the right decisions are chosen to produce the desired outcome
- Measure all change delivery to ensure all required outcomes and requirements are met
- Operate and deliver within defined cost, time, and scope constraints.
- Responsible for managing delivery risk and impact to operational performance and ensuring change is successfully delivered
- Lead and develop a team, creating a culture which strives for continual improvement at all levels, being commercially aware and using performance leadership techniques that deliver sustainable growth
- Responsible for internal and external key delivery supplier relationships, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and partnership to deliver agreed outcomes
- Supporting and developing team members in the field of Change delivery and providing detailed knowledge around DLG processes, systems, and data flows
- Day to day workstream delivery management, ensuring that the workstream operates within appropriate Programme standards and framework
- Support and assist the Head of Finance Change Governance, to understand resource capacity and capability and to suggest action where appropriate, so that Finance Change delivery is optimal in terms of delivery and efficiency.
- Stakeholder management: able to build and maintain a range of senior stakeholder relationships across the group and influence stakeholders to support change delivery agenda.
- Coordinate and communicate delivery RAIDs to Head of Finance Change and Head of Finance Change Governance for onward escalation and action.
