**Duties**
- Visit recruitment sites in pharmacies and primary care centres in Bristol and South Wales regularly to encourage recruitment and deliver study test kits
- Assist with research projects by collecting and organizing data. Testing is carried out over Zoom or Microsoft Teams
- Prepare research materials at our centre in North Bristol and assist with data entry
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain accurate records of research procedures and results

**Skills**
- Pharmacy technician or nursing experience an advantage, but other relevant experience also considered. The right personal attributes will be valued above specific experience however.
- An outgoing personality, with the ability to form good working relationships
- Driving license and own car necessary (mileage paid)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with the day to day work routines of a pharmacy and/or primary care centre an advantage

As a Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our research project. Your responsibilities will include encouraging dispensers, pharmacists, practice nurses and GPs to recruit more patients for our study. You will conduct testing via virtual calls with study participants (full training given) and need to be sensitive to the needs of patients with mental health conditions.

Full training will be given in Good Clinical Practice and specific training for our study. This role offers an interesting first step into clinical research for those interested in a career as a research assistant.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
