Wholesale Brand Manager

This is a broad and challenging commercial remit that has the scope to make a real impacton the future growth and success of the business. If you are an experienced Brand Manager or ready to take the step up to Brand Manager and have experience in the jewellery sector, then this is an opportunity not to be missed.
The role and responsibilities include:
As Brand Manager you will be responsible for implementing the wholesale strategy and goals while maintaining existing client business and pro-actively developing new wholesale business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To foster and grow the business within existing wholesale accounts by increasing market share and sell through.
- To conduct comprehensive market research to seek out new (or alternative) business opportunities with premium jewellery retailers. Present detailed case studies including evaluation of preferred partner, considering brand fit, partner credentials, expectedinvestment and company guidelines. Then demonstrate ability to secure agreed preferred partner.
- To attend Trade Shows and Client events representing the Brand and achieving sales targets.
- To manage wholesale account finance ensuring timely payments to ensure orders are not delayed and clients are within agreed credit limits.
- To obtain monthly client sell through data and work with Merchandising to ascertain best sellers /slow movers/popular styles and price points and use this data to achieve regular replenishment orders.
- To manage any new store / wholesale account openings within the marketplace, ensuring that a critical path is in place and followed, to ensure that store opens on time and with all the necessary tools to launch the brand to its optimum.
- To negotiate agreements and contracts to launch new business ventures
- To establish and oversee annual marketing plan by client, ensuring co-op budget is being utilized to best advantage and within company guidelines, event dates are secured well in advance and planned for accordingly to allow for maximum sales return andbrand enhancement.
- To provide frequent training and Visual Merchandising support to key wholesale accounts.
Knowledge & Skills required:
- Previous experience working directly with international markets is essential
- Previous experience working within the jewellery/luxury goods retail sector is essential
- Able to undertake business overseas travel on a regular basis
- Knowledge of SAP/Word/Excel/Power point
- Knowledge of luxury jewellery industry
- Able to manage own workload with good time organisation skills
- Able to work to tight deadlines and work flexibly across different departments
- Proficient in Visual Merchandising
