If so, an exciting opportunity awaits you as a Behaviour Mentor in Nottingham In this role, you'll support children aged 4 to 19 of varying abilities, managing their behaviour and helping shape their educational experiences.**

By joining The Supply Room, you'll have the chance to work in local Primary, Secondary, or SEN schools in Nottingham on short-term bookings, with the potential for a permanent role. With a pay rate starting at £85 per day, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to begin a fulfilling career in education. From implementing individualised behaviour/education plans to providing vital classroom support, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference. To ensure consistency for pupils, our placements are typically **full-time** - Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 15:30.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting students in managing and improving their behaviour
- Developing and implementing behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Working closely with students to promote positive attitudes and emotional well-being
- Providing 1:1 or small group interventions to address challenging behaviours
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and maintain a supportive environment
- Monitoring student progress, documenting improvements or ongoing concerns
- Encouraging students to develop social skills, self-regulation, and conflict resolution techniques
- Offering guidance and mentoring to help students build confidence and resilience
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture by reinforcing school rules and values
- Helping students re-engage with learning and overcome barriers to academic success

**Qualifications**:
Applicants will need to hold a minimum of a **Grade C** in GCSE **Maths** and **English** in order to effectively offer academic support for pupils. Any Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualifications are highly desirable.
