Café Supervisor

Bebo seek a dynamic and dedicated "hands on" Supervisor, with food preparation and presentation experience, as well as aspirations of Shift Management. Come and join our team at our café based in Hatfield. As a Supervisor, you will work closely with the management team and play a pivotal role in managing our busy coffee shop and maintaining the high standards our customer have come to expect of us. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborate with the Unit Manager to ensure smooth daily operations of the café during assigned shifts. - Assist in the training, supervision, and development of junior staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment. - Demonstrate expertise in customer service of sandwiches, salads, and quality coffees, ensuring consistency and adherence to high-quality standards and adherence to established food safety and hygiene standards. - Maintain a keen eye for detail in presentation, and overall customer satisfaction. - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries, concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise. - Foster strong teamwork and collaboration among staff members to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment. - Monitor inventory levels. - Maintain a clean and organized café environment. - Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with the Unit Manager to develop and implement operational strategies - Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful work environment Requirements include: - Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on food and beverage presentation with a good attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality. - Demonstrated expertise in food and beverage service. - A passion for Gourmet Coffee and its service. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach - Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive and cooperative attitude - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively - Flexibility to work varied shifts. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices We offer a competitive hourly pay, a supportive work environment, and the opportunity to contribute to the success of our.
