We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to be a part of our integral team at University of Hertfordshire, De Havilland Campus, Mosquito Way, Hatfield, AL10 9EU

- £13 per hour
- Full time 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend
- Shifts range between 7.30am - 5pm but you may be required to work the occasional evening for events.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Catering duties including ensuring the café is clean and presentable
- Placing orders and assisting with stocktakes
- Assist the General Manager in the running of campus outlets
- Managing your team, making sure the best service is available to our customers whilst the unit is open
- Assist with staff rota scheduling
- Daily team briefs, assisting management with tasks
- Maintaining records
- Motivating and leading your team, leading by example and providing training
- Provide excellent customer service to the clients and deal with complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Serving hot food/beverages
- Till operating and cash handling - including cashing up

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a team leader/supervisor in a hospitality environment is desirable
- Previous barista experience desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Retail experience desirable
- Flexibility to shift patterns if required
