We are currently recruiting for an experienced Data Protection advisor to join our vibrant and ever-growing company. This is a family run business, and the people are really at the heart of it all. **The role.**

We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge, understanding and experience working in a Data Protection Advisory role. You must at least a foundation level qualification in Data Protection and excellent knowledge about the Data Protection Act.

**The role will include, but not limited to**:

- Developing and implementing a data protection monitoring framework
- Review of existing data protection, retention policies and privacy statements
- Supporting the business through various change activities through a data protection lens including DPIA’s
- Continuous management of the ROPA
- Providing extensive knowledge of data Subject rights and legal basis for processing
- Building strong, working relationships with stakeholders
- Writing and presenting audit findings, reports, and information to key stakeholders

**You will**:

- Qualified at Foundation level in Data Protection, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience within a Data Protection Advisor role or similar
- Need extensive knowledge about Data Protection Policies
- Have experience building strong working relationships
- Be able to demonstrate your skills with Microsoft packages
- Have an excellent eye for detail
- Thrive in a busy working environment
- Be an enthusiastic individual
- Be passionate and driven to provide excellence across the business
- Have brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to problem solve and work under pressure
