Packaging Artworker

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Packaging Artworker, you will play a crucial role in creating and preparing packaging artwork for our exciting range of party and gift products. You will collaborate closely with our product design and development teams to ensure that our packaging not only meets our high-quality standards but also resonates with our target audience. This role requires you to be office-based for product testing and collaboration purposes.

**Duties**
- Create, test and prepare technical artwork for packaging,
- Work with product designers to ensure packaging aligns with product aesthetics and brand guidelines.
- Make revisions based on feedback from internal teams, clients and customers.
- Ensure all artwork is accurately produced and meets print specifications.
- liaise with our supply chain team and check PO’s for any required packaging updates.
- Update & create sustainable solutions and alternatives to plastic packaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends & sustainability requirements for packaging design..

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a packaging artworker or in a similar design role, preferably within the party, gift or stationery industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of print production processes and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous packaging designs is required.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with Sketch.
- Experience in video editing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of web design principles, including CSS and JavaScript, is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design ideas effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing designs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
