Product Marketing Manager - FMCG

Location: near Woking, Surrey

Hybrid working 3 days in the office

Salary range: £85,000 to £90,000 plus car allowance and bonus

Role:

We're hiring a dynamic FMCG product leader to shape the future of seven powerhouse brands.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced leadership role ( 3 direct reports) at the centre of our product portfolio — perfect for someone who loves driving both big-picture strategy and operational excellence.

You will lead the growth of our product portfolio while strengthening engagement with consumers and customers and shape the future roadmap with the wider Marketing team, covering NPD, brand upkeep, cost efficiencies and packaging improvements.

What you'll do in more detail:

  • Own the product strategy for a diverse, market-leading brand portfolio
  • Keep consumer insights, category trends and regulatory requirements at the forefront
  • Build clear 3–5 year portfolio strategies and product roadmaps in partnership with Marketing, Sales and Category teams
  • Deliver sharp, results-driven annual operating plans that land impactfully in-market — especially in peak seasons
  • Collaborate closely with UK Commercial teams while representing the UK in international forums, shaping category strategies across markets

What we're looking for:

  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset with proven leadership across teams.
  • Experience taking products through structured stage-gate processes from concept to launch.
  • Able to shape and champion the company's Vision and Purpose while making clear, data-driven decisions.
  • Results-focused, highly organised, and confident working in both strategic and hands-on operational detail.
  • Skilled in managing product information with accuracy.
  • Strong experience in product and portfolio strategy (ideally FMCG/consumer goods) with clear commercial and strategic capability.
  • Familiarity with artwork management tools to support packaging and design workflows.
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L understanding and customer insight.
