Product Manager – IT Procurement

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing system integrator based in the UK and take the lead as you take the lead in building the product department inside the business.

We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the product management and procurement team, where you will be responsible for overseeing the product development and procurement process for our range of new and refurbished computer systems, whilst building strong relationships and reputation amongst suppliers, partners and business relations.

This position is full time, in office based in Woking Surrey, GU23 6JX. Applicants should live within a commutable distance.

As a product manager you will:

· Manage the procurement process for hardware and peripherals for Bedrock Computers.

· Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships to secure the best terms for Bedrock.

· Monitor product performance, pricing, and availability to ensure Bedrock Computers remains competitive in the market.

· Monitor and identify market trends in component pricing to inform purchasing decisions.

· Negotiate contracts, rebates, and supply agreements with partners.

· Proactively identify new product opportunities and emerging technologies to expand the range of products and services Bedrock offers.

We're looking for someone who is:

· Experienced in product management, procurement, or purchasing—ideally within the IT industry.

· Knowledgeable about I.T. hardware, software, and technology solutions.

· Confident, professional, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders or supply contacts.

· Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Proactive, analytical, strong numerical skills and commercially minded with a focus on delivering results.

· Aptitude for MS Excel, and the ability to independently build and refine internal monitoring and organisational systems and procedures.

· A team player with the ability to also work independently.

·
Preferably has direct experience within the I.T. or technology industry.

·
Passionate about technology, with a genuine interest in innovation and the latest industry trends.
