**Job Overview**:
To provide general controller services. These duties will comply with the Assignment Instructions and site Standard Operating Procedures with a focus on customer service and customer care. Working closely with the client team to escalate and cascade operational tasks and emergencies. Supporting the emergency response team.
**Main Duties**
To receive and provide a friendly welcome to all staff and customers attending and calling the control room.
Recording all activities in the site log book including the monitoring of the CCTV system, fire & security alarm panels.
To communication between security department and associates/contractors/visitors, emergency calls, escalation of incidents, administration of records, documents, paperwork, key issuing, daily shift handover reports, adhoc requests, daily workload administration - alarm tests, sprinkler drain downs, ensuring they are familiar with site rules, policies and procedures.
To work alongside the Protective Services Team in managing all aspects of site security, remaining calm, vigilant and efficient at all times and effectively assist with a wide range of enquires and requests from staff, visitors and contractors.
To ensure that the control room is always tidy and presentable
To understand and provide appropriate solutions to problems encountered by staff, visitors or contractors.
Ability to recognise conflict situations and inform the Protective Services Team.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
To assist as instructed by appointed persons in any incident that might impact on the business.
To fully understand and be able to carry out the role required in emergency situations.

Demonstrated customer facing/customer service or front-of-house experience;
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills;
Flexible and Reliable;
Ability to work the set shift pattern
Demonstrated ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure;
Be physically able to carry out duties;
Excellent organisational skills.
IT literacy to include excellent outlook, word and excel (or similar) skills
Fully conversant with SIA/DPA/CCTV/GDPR legislation
Articulate, persuasive and assertive
Knowledge of BS7499 and BS7858
