**Hourly Rate**:Dependent on Experience + Overtime After 40 Hours

**Hours of Work**:Monday to Friday - 40hpw

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, the key duties and responsibilities for these roles include, but are not limited to:

- Responsible for erecting steel structures and buildings.
- The installation of various cladding systems to drawings, including composite, single skin, build up systems, including all flashings and associated items.
- Carry out the installation of precast panels.
- Examine drawings and specifications to assess job requirements.
- Organise site works, materials, plant checks and completion of documents i.e., timesheets etc.
- Provide regular reports and liaise with the Contracts Manager on work and site activities and safety updates and issues.
- Monitor situations to make adjustments to maintain quality and complete all contracts and projects within agreed time frames and schedules.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and on-site procedures.
- Ensure site areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and tidy manner at all times.
- Safely operate site plant and high-level access equipment, complete, and record checks and report defects when necessary.
- Assist with general ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Comply with the company’s policies & procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake additional duties as and when required.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Previous relevant and proven steel erecting and/or cladding experience.
- A self-motivated team with a proactive attitude towards work.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative with mínimal supervision.
- Possess the ability to read and understand drawings.
- Have an understanding of health and safety, manual handling and working at height regulations.

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**
- Hold valid site cards (CSCS & IPAF).
- Hold a valid CPCS card for Telehandler.
- Hold a valid CPCS card for Slinger/Signaller.
- First Aid Certificate.
