We are seeking a recent graduate to join our innovative accountancy practice as a trainee accountant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, and other financial statements for a portfolio of clients.
- Liaising with clients to ensure timely submission of information and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns for clients.
- Supporting the senior accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensuring clients are aware of any impacts on their business.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service.
- Contributing to the development of the practice through business development activities, including attending networking events, identifying new business opportunities, and preparing proposals.

**Requirements**:

- Degree educated.
- Be a confident communicator with an ability to develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders easily and naturally
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong IT skills.
