As a HR Adviser, you’ll be providing effective operational HR support to line managers and our people in designated business areas, alongside supporting the implementation and delivery of wider HR initiatives. To be successful in this role, you’ll be knowledgeable and highly proficient in employee relations, providing a comprehensive service to managers and employees within the business. Utilising your skills and experience in employment legislation to support and coach managers through ER cases.

**More about the role**:
Act as first point of contact on all statutory ER and HR processes; advising, coaching and challenging line managers and staff to deliver outcomes that are consistent with best practice, high performance and employee engagement.
Lead on low risk/straightforward change programmes, reorganisations and TUPE transfers.
Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and cyclical work in line with business priorities and the overall HR plan.
Contribute to HR projects and programmes as appropriate.
Manage all administration duties associated with the role
Ensure that day to day operational processes are delivered in accordance with relevant procedures working with the wider HR Team where required.
Use and inform collection of management information to identify areas where HR interventions are required in order to improve business performance.
Assess and review the impact of HR initiatives, policies and processes, staying alert to changes in context and make appropriate corrections to drive continuous improvement.

**More about you**:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math’s and English (Grades A*- C)
CIPD membership - qualified, part-qualified or relevant experience
Good overall HR generalist experience
Strong experience in all aspects of employee relations
Confident in assisting and coaching managers in handling a range of ER cases up to and including dismissal, and appeal
Good knowledge of employment legislation. Understands how to mitigate risk and how changes in legislation impact Policies & Procedures.
Familiar with methods for collecting, analysing and interpreting people data
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and use of HR databases and EDM systems
Strong administration skills
