**Objectives of the role**:
Take charge of onsite stock management, including listing and batching waste using SAP. Prepare outgoing loads for transfer to third-party disposal sites through thorough checking, sorting, segregating, bulking, and repacking processes. Ensure efficient and accurate handling of waste to maintain optimal site operations.

**Main Duties**:

- Perform pre-use FLT inspections and report faults.
- Conduct PUWER safety checks on equipment/tools and record findings.
- Safely operate a counterbalance FLT per company policy.
- Control vehicle movements on site if trained as a banksman.
- Perform housekeeping tasks like sweeping, litter picking, and drum crushing.
- Check waste suitability for intended disposal routes.
- Sort and segregate waste for optimal disposal.
- Bulk waste as directed by a competent person.
- Repack materials for disposal or transport.
- Complete batch sheets for waste traceability.
- List waste to obtain quotes.
- Prepare outgoing loads and pick pallets from storage.
- Use SAP to batch waste and ensure stock accuracy.
- Generate and print paperwork for drivers from SAP.
- Load outgoing vehicles and hook loaders.
- Promote a positive Health and Safety environment, report near misses (KPI: 1 per month) and rectify potential Health and Safety concerns.
- Assist other teams and perform additional duties as required.

**Critical Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Prior to Employment**
- Counterbalance FLT license
- Banksman experience
- Experience in Working in the Waste Sector.
- SAP experience is desirable.
- Competent Microsoft Office user, in particular Excel.

Pay: £11.44 per hour
