We are looking for values driven people to join Be Caring as a **Community Care Worker** providing care across South Leeds. We are currently seeking to employ people across **Robin Hood, Rothwell, Woodlesford and Oulton (L**S26), **providing high-quality person-centred care.

**Pay: £20,800 - £21,840 per year (40 hours per week)**:

- **£10.00 p/hr on a standard shift (block) contract **(working within a more defined geographical area on set runs)
- **£10.50 p/hr on a flexible shift (block) contract **(working on a defined shift pattern but working across areas to cover absences and build new runs)
- Mileage - **40p per mile - **average allowance **£85 every 4 weeks**

**Working Hours and Shift Patterns**:
We are looking to recruit people to work for Be Caring on a week 1 and week 2 shift patterns, which includes both evenings and weekends, for example working every other weekend.
- Morning shift: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Evening shift: 3:30pm - 10:00pm

**The Role**:
You do not need care experience. If you have the right values, we will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding **Community Care Worker.** As a **Community Care Worker**, you will provide care and support to meet individual personal care needs. You will:

- Provide personal care that protect people's dignity.
- Promote independence using enabling approaches.
- Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
- Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.
- Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.
- Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting and sharing information with the right people at the right time.

**Induction Training**:
All training is fully funded, and you will be paid for your time to complete the training. As a **Community Care Worker**, you will be provided with a comprehensive induction training on:

- Community wellbeing, individual wellbeing and personal outcomes;
- Fluids and nutrition;
- Medication, moving and handling, basic life support and first aid;
- Infection prevention and control, health and safety;
- Professional boundaries, confidentiality, equality, and diversity;
- Safeguarding, mental health and capacity

- Full induction and shadowing programme.
- Training to complete the Care Certificate.

- Quarterly Be Supported sessions.
- An annual appraisal and personal development plan.
