Working within a Central London Ophthalmic specialist private clinic, this is a unique opportunity to be offered full training within the field as no previous ophthalmic experience is required.
The clinic hours are Monday - Friday. The clinic hours 07:00-15.30, 08:00-16.30, 09:00-17:30 or 10:30-19:00.
Using the latest high-tech equipment, this clinic offers clients laser eye surgery. Furthermore, the clinic enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in clinical care and research. You will be working with an experienced and expert team of surgeons, optometristsand other nursing professionals. Ground-up training is provided in our standard operating procedures, unique techniques and eye care; previous ophthalmic nursing experience, particularly in cataract surgery is desirable not essential.
The role involves 3 main areas: Working directly with our surgeons in the operating theatre, preparing and counselling patients on pre-op and post-op routines for surgery and conducting hi-tech diagnostic testing.
