**Assisting in Sport’s Department**
- To help with the successful running of the golf, fishery and tackle shop.
- To assist in general maintenance jobs around the resort
- To serve and assist customers in a polite and helpful manner.
- To follow open and close down procedures so that the resort and sports shop area is clean and ready for service.
- To have an understanding of the till.
- To assist in stock taking when necessary.
- To provide excellent customer service to anglers, golfers and visitors to the resort, including local advice to help them achieve their objectives.
Re-stock all items within the department that are running low.
- Check the resort, putting green, driving range and fishing ponds on a daily basis and remove rubbish.
- Check the water levels regularly and report any concerns.
- To handle difficult situations with customers and pass information on to senior levels where necessary.
- To remove the golf balls from the Driving range and refill the ball dispenser.
- To monitor anglers, ensuring they are not exceeding their catch limit and that catch and release anglers are using barbless hooks.
- To complete any reasonable task set by the Sports & Estates Supervisor and Manager
- To follow the instructions and direction of the Sports & Estates Supervisor and Manager at all times
**Managing Relationships**
- Develop and maintain relationships with all departments within the company to ensure there is a good flow of communication and understanding of customer expectations to ensure that service meets expectations.
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships at all levels.
- Act as an ambassador for the company at all times.
- Fully understand the many facets of the business and structure in order to value different requirements and act with diplomacy to achieve the best possible outcome.
- To be flexible in your approach so that you can help out with other duties and departments when help is needed.
**Administrative Support**
- To provide efficient telephone support, answering the telephone politely using the approved greeting and passing on relevant information to specific departments.
- To assist all visitors and clients by passing on messages correctly and in good time, providing assistance wherever possible and immediately seeking assistance when necessary.
- To make recommendations where appropriate in the provision of improved customer service.
- Encourage customers to provide a review on TripAdvisor.
**Health and Safety Management**
- Advise on safety aspects in the use of equipment and systems of work.
- Where necessary, investigate the causes of accidents, the circumstances leading to them and compile the necessary reports, providing corrective advice to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensure regulations relating to health, safety and the environment (HSE) are adhered to.
- Advise on safety aspects in the use of equipment and systems of work.
- Keep up to date with Health & Safety procedures to maintain the security and safety of team.
- To assist with fire safety checks.
