Must be flexible in approach to shift work.
Owing to site location access to a mode of transport will be required.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- HR Responsibilities

- Work together with Line Manager and HR to drive engagement building a wellness culture within the site.

- Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop a positive progressive culture within the business.

- Manage all aspects of effective management and supervision, training & development and employee relations of the wider team.

- Working with the Warehouse Manager to help create a succession plan and talent agenda at the site by providing recommendations on direct reports as appropriate.
**8**
- Conduct weekly meetings with subordinates to include the dissemination of Company messages through departmental managers.
- Health and Safety Responsibilities

- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, the company handbook, Quality standards and all other company policies and procedures.

- Analyse and understand health and safety related risks for your staff and take action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritised plan.

- Take operational ownership for Health & Safety Committee meetings and ensure key information is shared with Line manager, colleagues and key stakeholders. Ensure actions completed as appropriate.

- Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non-compliance to safety regulations and procedures.

- Responsible for the effective supervision of health, safety & welfare for the wider.
- Quality Responsibilities

- Implement and supervise the adherence of up to date processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures and associated forms to achieve prescribed outputs.
**16**
- Driving continuous improvement quarter-on-quarter based on removing barriers to improved performance for the department where necessary.

- Track the operational shift’s performance, understanding deviations with the team and support them with necessary resources.
**18**
- Understand the root causes of performance results and set actions with Team and Line Manager for improving the results.
**19**
- Support, comply and ensure complicity with the company’s Quality Policy Document and its objectives of delivering a profitable and unrivalled quality service admired by competitors.

- Track overall employee attendance ratio for the operation and understand results' impact on Site Performance.

- Track site overall inventory accuracy and allowance.
- Operational Responsibilities

- Assist in the identification of additional and potential opportunities with the customer, reporting upwards as required.

- Full operational ownership across the shift to ensure full agreed service delivery.

- Management and supervision of allocated MHE to include, but not limited to, before use checks, defect reporting etc.
**25**
- Management of the allocation of storage availability within area of responsibility.
**26**
- Ensuring that customer complaints are resolved in the most efficient manner.

- Within the context of responsibilities set by management, on a day-to-day basis, assign tasks, monitor performance and support the team as necessary.

- Support management with resource planning and management, eg implement agreed processes to review performance, monitor absence and sickness and address issues within clear guidelines.
