**About the Role**

**Role - Senior Residential Support Worker**

**Location - Cardiff**

**Salary - Up to £31,116.48 per year inclusive of sleep-in shifts at £50.00 per night**

We have an opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to join our team in our children’s home in Cardiff, supporting up to 4 Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders. All our homes are based in a semi-rural location to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we support.

**To be a successful Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll need**:

- QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Care.
- A willing attitude and a caring, reliable nature.
- Compassion and empathy.
- Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice.
- A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation, and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Due to the requirements of the role the minimum age requirement for the role is 22 years of age.
- Full UK manual driving license (This is essential due to the needs of the Young People we support).
