**Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant**

**Location: Newport**

**Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time (Flexible options available)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to students, catering to their individual learning needs and goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized education plans.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Motivate and encourage students to actively engage in their learning process.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and personal growth.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant educational qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with educational technology and learning resources is desirable.

**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newport, Newport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
