**Job Description Summary**: As Dowty transitions to a value-stream aligned organization a business operations leader is required to manage the effective implementation of an operating framework that ensure that the overall business operating and strategic objectives are met through the effective implementation of lean principles. In addition the leader will partner with the value stream leaders in order that the business executes an effective productivity strategy that delivers year-on-year productivity improvement.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Change management and organisational development.
- Implementation of lean principles (Daily management, Operating reviews, Leader Standard Work).
- Partner, coach, mentor and energise value stream leaders to develop a productivity improvement pipeline
- Work with finance and digital teams to ensure robust information is available to the value streams in a timely fashion.
- Drive continuous improvements and Lead Kaizen activities

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Change management and organisational development experience
- Prior experience operating in a cost management role with involvement in process-improvement/simplification activities
- Strong data analysis skills and clear thinker
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and organisational skills to meet goals and set priorities, in challenging and uncertain environments.
